Catering by Doubletree is...

Albert Boscov’s had one vision in building the DoubleTree by Hilton, Reading. To create a business that puts community engagement first to help move the City of Reading and its residents forward. We are dedicating to fulfilling a piece of that mission in everything we do in our hospitality operations.

Happy Employees mean they are highly empowered to take care of our guests and each other – Our staff’s mental, physical, and financial wellness is paramount to our success and the community’s health.

Reading Hospitality, LLC hires locally, with over 75% of employees walking to work, bringing dollars, dignity, and growth to nearby families. We offer living wages that are far better than industry standards. Over 700 healthy meals a week are served to our employees free of charge. Free clothing and household goods are available to our employees and their families through our in-house thrift clothing, “Care Closet.”  Our Employee Development office employs a full-time counselor to help employees balance work and family and offers guidance to community recourses and social services.  We are a second-chance employer offering formerly incarcerated non-violent offenders an opportunity to reintegrate, grow, and find success. Through our partnership with local banking institutions, we provide free courses on financial wellness. Through our involvement with Habitat for Humanity, we help employees find the path to home ownership.

Serving the greater good – Reading Hospitality is vested in improving the lives of the people of Reading. We have formed partnerships with local giving organizations, contributing with donations and thousands of volunteer hours to help them succeed in their mission. We are active in supporting:
